Gail paints with a vibrant color and brush stroke reminiscent of post impressionism and fauve periods. Her style is not about going back in time but realizing the beauty of today. With a background in graphic design Gail knows cameras and computers can build a clean portrait. But nothing can duplicate an organic response to light, form, motion and moment as does one of her paintings. Color straight from the tube is carefully balanced and fresh; never worked. Oil paintings as well as floor cloths and wall hangings are painted with Gamblin brand pigments and mediums. Wall hangings and floor cloths may be rolled though if rolled frequently these may start to crack. This way, one could force along some patina. Otherwise, do be careful not too keep them stored this way too long or too often. Framed paintings may be sold unframed. Please check with Gail on the price difference. This can reduce the weight and size of a shipment and therefor reduce some cost in shipping as well.
Original oil painting out of your price range? Giclees and prints come with a lifetime color guarantee (guarantee does not include damage) and are fabulously similar to an original. Highly recommended are the giclees of Hunt Landscape II in original size of 36 inches square and Neptunes Steeds at 20 by 40 inches. Prints are always fragile and even coated can be scratched. Please do not let anything come into direct contact with the surface of these gorgeous prints.

Your credit card is run by Gail Guirreri-Maslyk herself. This site does NOT run credit cards automatically. You will be contacted to confirm your order.
Shipping is not calculated on this site since box sizes and weight will vary. All shipments are packed by UPS and insured. You will be notified by e-mail as to the cost above the initial statement. Please give us special instructions in your check out if your address is difficult to deliver to. Also, please include a phone number for any questions and UPS labeling. If you want to sign for your shipment, include that in your special instructions. Otherwise UPS will drop deliver; signature not required. |
